Library EntranceAccess & rules

New AcquisitionsBorrowing

  • Maximum of 10 items at any one time
  • Loans may be renewed 12 times, if they have not been recalled or requested by another user
  • Users with overdue items are subject to fines

  • Consult the Catalogue or Articles+ to find and locate material
  • Most of the Library’s holdings are on open shelving
  • Requested material from storage is delivered Monday to Friday. Material requested before 13.00 will be available later the same afternoon

CompassInformation services

  • Library entrance desk is staffed Monday to Friday,  9.00-19.00
  • Information specialists are available for specific enquiries

E-resourcesUsing computers, photocopying, printing & scanning

  • Printing services  are offered via the MultiFunction Printers (MFP), all providing for copying, printing and scanning
  • 8 wall-mounted PCs in the Library for Catalogue and Internet consultation
  • There are more than 50 computers in the Library
  • WiFi access via the EUI-WiFi
  • Most Library working spaces and tables have a fixed LAN cable for connecting your laptop to the Internet
